Menachem & Lindsay's Engagement - November 11th, 2007

Now this was a neat place where Bernard & I photographed Menachem Salmon's & Lindsay Herskovits' engagement. Because the weather is no longer the warmest by November and finding trees with leaves still on them nearly impossible, we opted for an indoor garden. The place we found is called Allan Gardens and is located in downtown Toronto. Now, to tell you the truth, this was our first time at this place but you know what? We had an awesome time discovering the beautiful & different scenery as they unfolded before us as we walked through this indoor garden -Wow! It was unbelievable! You'd never think it was bitting cold outside!!
So here are a few of our favourite shots:

Michael & Natalie's Wedding -November 4th, 2007

Bernard & I really had a great time photographing Michael Sidnam & Natalie Revesz's wedding at The Old Mill in Toronto. They were so relaxed and easy going -so easy to work with! Man, there's nothing better that a photographer can ask for than to have beautiful, easy to work with models that don't allow the potential stress of the day to take over their joy and happiness on this such a special occasion!

So we decided to put their photos in a slideshow as well -I don't know about you, but I think that having the photos move to music adds so much more to the whole element and feel of the occasion that it gives it that much more of an impact! So I think that from now on, we're going to put most of these weddings into slideshows on the blog because I truly feel that it makes a huge difference! Not to mention the fact that I've gotten many comments from those of you who have seen the slideshows from the previous weddings saying how much you've liked them -in fact I've had some people comment on how they even started crying when they saw some of these shows! Well then it's no wonder some of these slideshows have been viewed over 140 times each!! That's crazy!

Okay, so just click on the photo below and it'll take you to the slideshow -let me know what you think of this one, okay?

David & Aviva's Wedding -October 28th, 2007

I know it's been a little while since we've updated the blog so I made the time to try and catch up here! We have been crazy busy these past couple of weeks with several weddings and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs -which I will eventually up load here...so please bare with us!

Anywhoo! We had quite a time trying to narrow down to these few photos we took of David Lowy and Aviva Weiss's Wedding! We took over 1,200 shots!!! They were such a great couple to work with and Bernard & I really had a fantastic time! They and their whole families are such sweet and lovely people that we just couldn't help but keep photographing them! I think we must have gotten home at around 2:30am! But I must say we enjoyed every minute of it! (Ah! Isn't it great to have a job that you love?!? =p)

Humberto & Anna's Engagement -October 20th,2007

We had so much fun photographing Anna's & Humberto's engagement! They are such a good looking couple and are so easy going -they're everything that a photographer can ask for!

What I loved the most about them, was that they weren't affraid to try different things -and still have fun while doing it!

The park itself was absolutely stunning -a place Bernard & I had never been to before! It's called Belfountain Conservation Area in Caledon. It's a bit of a drive to get there (if you're coming from Toronto, it's about 1 & 1/2 hours) but it's definately worth the drive -not only when you get there but even the drive on the way up there was gorgeous!

Infact, we stumbled upon a place on our way to the park that I had never known existed in Ontario!! It's called the Cheltenham Badlands. It used to be a warm shallow sea that came from several rivers up from the mountains and was forming this large muddy delta at the base of the mountain. But the rivers dried up and now all that's left is but a small area that was preserved with the shape of this delta that had been there so many moons ago. Incredible! (On our way back home after the engagement shoot, nearing the end of the day, Bernard & I went to this place and took a few shots and I've added some of these shots to the end of this post!)

Anyhow, we are definately very excited for Humberto & Anna and can't wait for their wedding that will be coming up in September of next year -2008! We will definately have those shots posted up here as well. But for now, here are some of our favourite shots from the engagement:

And here are some shots from the Cheltenham Badlands after the engagement (Though Bernard & I were thinking this would be a great place for an engagement shoot aswell -this place is awesome!) :
