Olympic Torch Journey! -December 17th, 2009

I had the awesome opportunity to watch and photograph the Olympic Torch pass by en route to downtown Toronto -and ultimately, to BC where the Games will be held in just over 50 days! The really cool thing is that according to 680news.com, "The torch relay to Vancouver is being called the longest relay in a single country in Olympic history."
How exciting is that?
Well, to celebrate the moment, I created a simple little slideshow with some of my favourite shots...I just had to share it with you all -because I would imagine that not everyone got the opportunity to see it...so this is my way of sharing it with you! Plus, it was fun to put the slideshow together and it's fun to watch too!! =p
Hope you enjoy the show -let me know what you think! =p

Soldiers of Israel Fundraising Gala Dinner: October 18th, 2009

Bernard & I had the wonderful opportunity to give back to the Jewish Community by volunteering in giving our photography services to the Soldiers of Israel Fundraising Gala Dinner that took place at the Embassy Grand Convention Centre in Brampton.
It was an absolutely wonderful evening! It was very touching to hear from the soldiers who are in actual service for the Israeli Army and the hardships and struggles they continuously go through and fight for in the name and freedom of their country. Yet, it was also very encouraging to hear how the generosity of those who are able to help, in so many different ways, was making such an impact in the lives of these young soldiers!
We were extremely touched to have received this letter from the Soldiers of Israel commity thanking us for our services:
We felt very honoured to have been chosen to photograph such a significant event that is sure to touch many lives all over the world!
Below are just some of our favourite shots from the event. Hope you enjoy!

Yaakov Morgenstern & Ruti Rrhochman: October 15th, 2009

Yaakov & Ruti's wedding was so special! We had an awesome time photographing them and their families! They are such a good looking couple, (don't worry, ALL of our clients are beautiful!)and they look so good together! =p
The wedding was held at the BAYT synagogue and my parents at Heavenly Flowers did the floral and decor artwork -everything looked stunningly beautiful!!
It was so much fun to photograph these guys- you should have seen Ruti throw her actual bouquet in the air for her sisters to catch! It was awesome!! I even caught the shot with the bouquet in mid-air too! HAHA!!=p
But I must say that my favourite shots are at the end when we did some sweet night shots at the end of the night in front of the Shull! So make sure you watch the slideshow all the way to the end! They look sooo good!! (Not the pictures though, the couple! LOL!)
Anyway, hope you enjoy viewing the pictures below! =p

Avishai Gasner: September 7th, 2009

First of all, I just want to say that I think Avishai's name is so neat! He has a great name!
Secondly, Bernard & I had a ton of fun with him and his family during his Bar Mitzvah! On the Sunday, the day before his actual Bar Mitzvah, we went to a really cool little park that we have never been to before. We love going to new and different places because it gives us the opportunity to be creative and see things differently and get awesome angles!
We had a great time photographing Avishai and his family there at the park -it was the perfect day too! The sun was streaming through the leaves on the trees and giving off that warm glow -it was fantastic!
Then the next day, we were at the BAYT Synagogue bright and early in the morning for his actual reading of the Torah. Avishai did an awesome job!
His parents and siblings were extremely proud of him! It was so neat for us to be there to witness and catch those special moments for them.
Mazel Tov Avishai! You did your parents proud! =p
Check out some of our favourite shots from both days below:

Yosef Halpern: August 30th, 2009

Bernard & I had the wonderful opportunity to do some amazing portraits of Yosef for his Bar Mitzvah.
We went to his house and got some awesome shots of him and his family! His sisters are so cute!! =p
We had a great time photographing and making memories for them.
All the best & Mazel Tov Yosef! We truly appreciate the opportunity to be able to photograph such a special event for you!

Aryeh Pliskin & Chana Brenner: August 23rd, 2009

Well, as you can see, August was an insanely busy month for us! And I haven't even posted or will be able to post every single wedding we photographed that month -or else I'll never get caught up on these blog posts!!

However, I did have to post this incredible wedding we photographed in Detroit! But first though, before I embark on telling this journey, I must thank Chana, Aryeh and their families for choosing us to photograph their wedding in Detroit.
Chana first heard about us and saw our work while she was participating in Yitzi & Libby's wedding here in Toronto. She loved our work and our style of photography and wanted us to photograph her wedding too!
So Thank You Chana & Aryeh for entrusting your wedding memories to us -we feel extremely honoured and are truly grateful for the opportunity you have given us!

Now, where do I begin? WOW! That would be the perfect word to describe this incredible wedding! To begin with, the wedding was held at The Dearborn Inn -a gorgeous and historical hotel near Detroit, Michigan.

Chana looked absolutely magnificent in her wedding dress and Aryeh looked like Prince Charming himself in his dashing suit! With such a fantastic combination of a gorgeous looking couple along with an equally stunning place like The Dearborn Inn, we couldn't possibly take a "bad" photograph, even if we wanted to!! It was photography heaven for us! =p
We loved capturing the emotions and the harmony that was felt amongst both families; the joyful tears, the bubbly laughter and the shear excitement of this much anticipated day! It was so touching!!

Boy, and when I tell you we had a hard time choosing these few shots to show on this post, I really mean it! It was extremely hard to choose these select few because everyone looked so good in all of them!!
I certainly hope these shots we have chosen will help describe a little bit of what we experienced at Aryeh and Chana's wonderful wedding! We felt extremely privileged to not only have witnessed this incredible event but to have captured these treasured memories for them -for life! ....Enjoy!

Ryan & Andrea and Darren & Erica Wedding: August 15th,2009

Alright! This is the post we have all been waiting so anxiously for! The DOUBLE wedding of Ryan & Andrea and Darren & Erica!! YAY!!!
Some of you may remember the post I made a couple of months ago from their engagement photo session at Oakbank Pond Park. On that post, I explained in more detail about the unique relationships between these brothers & sisters getting married to each other.
Well, now, it's time to showcase their wedding!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!!
And what a wedding it was indeed! To begin with, the ceremony and reception took place at The Royal York Hotel -a Gorgeous hall in downtown Toronto, and just the fact that it was a double wedding made this whole event completely unique! Something that none of us had ever experienced before!!
The girls looked absolutely stunning in their wedding gowns and the boys were strutting like the gentlemen they were in their spiffy suits! The flowers and decorations were absolutely magnificent -brought to you proudly by Heavenly Flowers.
To top it all off, they couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! The sun was shining, it was a warm summer day -what else could a pair of Brides & Grooms ask for?!? LOL!
We were so excited and felt extremely honoured to have been chosen to not only capture and create such beautiful memories for both couples but it was a thrill to have been counted as one of their guests. To be there to witness such a joyous occasion for them and their families brought tears to my eyes! It was one awesome experience!! =p

Well, now is the moment of truth! The moment we have all been waiting for to see: their wedding pictures below!
We started out at the girls house where we got some beautiful shots of the girls and their bridesmaids, then we moved onto the hall downtown where the boys were staying at to get some nice shots of them with the groomsmen.
My favourite part was at the very end of the wedding, when we got the opportunity to do some fun night shots at the end of the night -we were all extremely tired and exhausted from a full day of the wedding, but I think it was totally worth it! We got some amazing shots! So make sure to wait until the end of the slide show to see those!
Hope you enjoy -let me know what you think!! =p

Eldad Younessi & Jenny Kohanzadeh: August 5th,2009

The following day after photographing Nesanel & Chava's wedding, we traveled out to Hamilton to photograph Jenny & Eldad's wedding at a beautiful little shull called Adas Israel Synagogue.
But just because it was a smaller shull than the BAYT synagogue (where we're used to photographing the majority of our weddings!), doesn't mean that everything had to be simple and small either. As a matter of fact, it turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous wedding!
The decor work that my parents at Heavenly Flowers did for them was just absolutely stunning! In fact, I made sure to include some of the decor shots we took of the Chupah and the reception room below because it was just so inexplicably gorgeous! My parents definitely went above and beyond every one's expectations and floored us all!
Of course, we can't forget to mention how stunning Jenny looked in her wedding gown! WOW! She was beautiful!
The one thing I loved the most about photographing Eldad & Jenny's wedding was that they were so much fun to hang out with and take pictures of! You should have seen how natural Jenny was in front of the camera -and Eldad! My goodness! That boy is something else! We had so much fun coming up with cool and extreme angles -it was just awesome!!
This was definitely a very memorable wedding that we're bound to never forget! So make sure to check out the photos below and let me know what you think! Feel free to leave any comments at the end of the post. =p
Enjoy!

Nesanel Fettman & Chava Bollag: August 4th, 2009

August was an insanely busy month for us -which is a good thing! And now we are finally starting to get caught up in editing all 10 weddings & events we photographed that month.

To kick it all off we start with Nesanel & Chava! What a great couple! Chava is such a sweet girl -a very caring and down to earth young lady. She looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding dress! Nesanel is also a really nice guy -very shy, but it's cute because it fits his personality! He also looked dashing in his suit.
They come from such wonderful and loving families! It was very special for us to not only witness but to capture such tender moments between their siblings and their parents. We had a great time photographing their wedding!
Bellow are just some of our favourite shots -out of over 1500 photos! It was truly hard to choose these few to represent a wonderful night that lasted until 2am!
Mazel Tov Chava & Nesanel! All the best and much Nachas in your future together!

Steven Walvick & Deborah Miller: July 5th, 2009

We're chugging right along here on posting our first wedding for the month of July! Boy have things been busy lately! It's so hard to keep up with posting all of the weddings, but we're working hard to get it done so hang on tight!!

Steven & Deborah had a wonderful wedding at the Paradise Banquet Hall in Woodbridge. It was a different wedding than the weddings that we normally photograph, mainly because Deborah is studying to be a Rabbi while Steven is a Cantor, so some customs were done differently. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful wedding!
The other part that made it different was the height difference between Deborah and Steven (as you can see in the pictures!), yet, they're so perfect for each other!
There was this beautiful connection between the two of them that just lit their faces and charged up this electricity between them! It pretty much made up for the height difference, that's for sure!

They were a lovely couple and we were thrilled to have been chosen to photograph their wedding! My favourite part of the wedding was when Steven sang for Deborah to walk down the aisle -it was so romantic! He's such a sweetie!! =p

All in all, it was a beautiful day and we got some amazing pictures of their wedding -these few in the slideshow below are just some of our favs! Enjoy!!

Michel Schachter & Rochel Leah Rosengarten: June 29th, 2009

Alright, we're making progress here: our last wedding for the month of June!

We were so excited to photograph Rochel Leah & Michel's wedding! It was an honour for us to photograph another Rosengarten wedding as we had photographed Rochel Leah's sister's wedding last year. They both come from such great families and it was so nice for us to reunite with them again this year!

The wedding took place at the BAYT Synagogue in Thornhill and because it is a Shull that we photograph many weddings in, I always challenge myself to try to come up with exciting and creative photographs for the Bride & Groom. And I think we were able to accomplish that here! Rochel Leah was awesome at doing some of the crazy things I asked her to do -but I think it worked out in the end and we got some beautiful shots! She looked gorgeous in her wedding dress!
Michel is such a great guy -very cheerful and always ready with a smile! The two of them looked stunning together!! We're so happy for the two of you -Mazel Tov! =p

These are just some of our favourite shot from their wedding -it was so hard to choose just these few! But I had to narrow them down or else we'd be watching this blog post forever!! (lol)
Anyway...enjoy! =p

Sophia's Portrait Session: June 27th, 2009

I know I'm a little behind on my blog postings...but hang on! They're coming...slowly but surely, they're coming!

Oh my...what a cutie!! What a blast we had photographing Sophia! She's so adorable!! I absolutely love her smile!! =p
I had such a fun time with Sophia and her family. We did a beautiful photo of the 4 generations of ladies together -oh! I love it! This is what started my passion for photography; the ability to capture moments and freeze them forever! It's incredible!
A couple of years ago we photographed Sophia's parents wedding: Thamyris & Bruno (their wedding was before I started this blog)They loved their wedding photos so much that they asked me to come back to photograph their first child's first year: Sophia!
So, this was definitely a very special photo shoot for us!
Thank you so much for the opportunity to serve you and your growing family guys! It has been awesome -we wish you all the best! =p

Hope you enjoy viewing just some of my favourites:

July 31, 2009

Eliezer Bistritz & Hindy Kaufman: June 24th, 2009

We had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Rabbi Bistritz and his family again -That's twice in the same year! Just a couple of months ago, in March, Bernard & I got to go to Montreal to photograph Rabbi Bistritz's daughter's wedding. And now, we are honoured to have had the priviledge of photographing his son's wedding!

We had a great time photographing Eliezer & Hindy! They are a wonderful couple who come from very loving families. It was awesome for us to capture those special moments for them.
Check out some of our favourite shots from their wedding below! Enjoy =p

Ryan & Andrea and Darren & Erica Engagement Session: June 19th, 2009

Okay, I guess you're kinda looking at the title of this blog a little bit quizzically wondering "Why are there two couple's names on this post?"..."Did the photographer make a mistake?"
Well, to answer your question, no. I did not make a mistake in typing both names on the tile...wanna know why? Because this is an extra ordinary set of couples!
By now you've probably glanced through some of the shots below (yeah, I know you always do!!) and is now wondering "Am I seeing double here??"
As a matter of fact, you are! This is a Double Engagement Photo Session with two girls who look peculiarly identical with two different guys...well, believe it or not, they are indeed identical twin sisters (who are, by the way, awesome childhood friends of mine!) who are getting married to -get this! Two BROTHERS!!
That's right! Twin sisters getting married to two brothers on the same day: It's a DOUBLE WHAMMY WEDDING!! Woo Hoo!! How awesome is that??
I'm SO EXCITED for this opportunity to photograph these guys weddings!
We had a blast at their engagement session -which was also photographed at Oakbank Pond Park and I can't wait for their wedding!! (That's coming up in August, so stay tuned for that!)
Alright, so enjoy some of my favourite shots from their engagement session below and let me know what you think!

David Lemieux & Lesley Gorman: June 14th, 2009

This was such a special wedding for Bernard & I to photograph -for me, more specifically!
I've known the Gorman family for several years now -since high school, really! Lesley, her sister Sarah & I attended the same high school and played on the same sports teams during that time and we have kept in touch more recently through facebook! So I was absolutely thrilled when Lesley asked us to photograph her wedding!
The wedding took place at the beautiful Thornhill Golf & Country Club -it was actually our first time photographing a wedding there and we absolutely fell in love with the place!
Lesley looked incredibly breath-taking in her wedding gown and David looked like an absolute stud in his suit!
And believe it or not, I found out later during her sister's speech, that Lesley, along with her friends, did and organized all of the centerpieces! -Wow they looked stunning, especially when the lights were dimmed in the room, the centerpieces just glowed!
Everything came together and the wedding flowed amazingly on time!
Bernard & I had a fantastic time with them! It was so hard for us to choose these few favs to show...there were so many good ones!!
Mazel Tov & Congrats, David & Lesley! You guys are awesome!! =p

Winter Family Photo Session: June 11th, 2009

A couple of weeks ago, I had the awesome priviledge of photographing the Winter Family! They traveled all the way from Israel to Toronto. But it wasn't just for me to photograph them -they were here for Mrs. Winter's best friend's wedding, which we also photographed!
We had a fantastic time! The weather was just perfect that morning, so we ended up going to Oakbank Pond Park in Thornhill.
Baby Bracha was sooooo cute!! We were able to get some really cute smiles out of her! =p
Check out some of my favourite shots from their photo shoot below. Enjoy!

June 17, 2009

Nosson Berkovits & Chani Roth: June 3rd, 2009

Wow! What a fantastic wedding day this was for Nosson & Chani! It was absolutely gorgeous outside, so we were able to take some fantastic pictures!
The wedding took place at The Terrace in Woodbridge -a beautiful hall that we frequent often!
It was so much fun for Bernard & I to photograph this wedding -Nosson & Chani were awesome at taking pictures! Chani is so sweet and looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding dress! Nosson was also looking very dashing in his suit!
The two of them looked wonderful together!! I especially loved some of the shots we took of them alone under the Chupah after the ceremony -we definitely had tones of fun!
We certainly wish them both all the best in their future together! Mazel Tov Nosson & Chani!! =p
Below are just some of my favourite shots from their wedding -Enjoy!

Aryeh David: June 1st, 2009

Our first event in the month of June was Aryeh's Bar Mitzvah! It was very special for our family to photograph and decorate this event because the David family -especially Aryeh's mom, Mrs. David are very dear to us!
We wanted to make sure we did something special for them so my parents from Heavenly Flowers did a spectacular job at dressing up the room while Bernard & I worked hard to make sure we got some really cool shots of Aryeh and the party after with his friends!
We had so much fun with them!! It was a huge honour for us to be there to capture those important and significant moments for the David family.
Mazel Tov Aryeh on a job well done on your speech! All the best to you and your family with many more Simchas to come! =p
Here are just a few of some of our favourite shots (out of several hundreds!!) that we took that night-hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think....

Baby Thomas Potraits: May 21st, 2009

Oh my goodness! This baby photo session was pure cuteness!!
Just last week I got to photograph baby Thomas -how precious he is! He was only 2 weeks old when I photographed him, but he's huge for his age! And that hair...WOW!
It was such a priviledge for me to be able to record a piece of history into the life of this little baby boy only a few weeks old!
I had a fantastic time with him and his parents. Fabiana & Stelios were so much fun to hang out with and watch them "ooo" and "aawww" at their baby boy! What proud parents they are!
Anyway, I took countless photos during their session and it was really tough for me to choose these few to show on the blog...these are just some of my faves!
Enjoy....

Josh & Rachel's Engagement: May 18th, 2009

The following day after Gad & Joanna's wedding (see post below), Bernard & I headed downtown to take some engagement pictures of my best friend Rachel and her fiance Josh!
We had a blast together! Even though Bernard & I were kinda tired from the wedding when we started the session, however as we got things going and we started having fun, I felt totally refreshed and excited to be hanging out with my best friend and capturing some precious moments between her and her fiance together! (It also helped that it was an absolutely gorgeous day with the sun streaming through the trees...) It was just perfect! I couldn't ask for a better day! =p
Rachel had always dreamed of taking pictures of her and Josh with apple blossoms all around them, so she found this really cool park in the middle of downtown Toronto that we went to. We tried to time the engagement session so we could catch the blossoms at their peak time on the trees...and I think we got'em!
Boy, did we have fun! It was awesome!! The trees with different shades of pinks looked absolutely stunning against the green -it just jumped out at you!
Once we took enough shots of the trees, (and believe me when I tell ya, we took tones!)we went down to the Distillery! Now THAT was awesome!
When I discovered the Distillery a couple of years ago, it became my goal to one day do either a bridal session there with a bride & groom or to do an engagement session there for a couple. So it was extremely exciting for me to take these pictures there because not only did my dream become a reality but I was able to share it with my best friend!
Well, I hope you enjoy viewing just a few of my faves from their engagement session below...let me know what you think!

May 21, 2009

Gad Elmaleh & Joanna Segal: May 17th, 2009

Well, we kick off our summer with Gad & Joanna's wedding that was held this past Sunday at the BAYT Synagogue in Thornhill!
Wow! What a fantastic wedding! Everything and everyone looked absolutely gorgeous! Gad came strolling in to the Shull driving a Ferrari with quite the "bling bling" brooch pinned to his tie -the guy was a stud!
Joanna looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress -I got some great shots of her getting ready!
The whole day went extremely well and at the end of the night, Joanna did a Father-Daughter Dance with her dad -they looked so cute dancing together! Then her mom joined them on the dance floor...it was so nice and heart-warming to see how close both families were with each other.
Bernard & I had a great time with them -we thoroughly enjoyed and felt extremely priviledged to have been chosen to photograph and document Gad & Joanna's beginning of a new life together!
Thanks so much guys. We certainly wish you a heart-felt Mazel Tov and a wonderful future together!
I hope you enjoy viewing the slideshow of just some of our favourite shots from the wedding!

The Boadway Families & Babies Portraits: April 20th, 2009

Just last week, Bernard and I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the Boadway families! They are two brothers with their wives who had two baby girls just a couple of weeks apart and both families are wonderful friends of ours!
The girls are SO CUTE and we got to spend the whole day with them!! =p
We had a great time and it was very refreshing to do something a little bit different from weddings!
I think it's always a good thing to be constantly challenging yourself to try different things and stretch your abilities so that you can grow as a person.
In the end, we ended up taking almost 300 photos, but it was worth every shot!
These are just a few of some of our favourites -there were so many good ones!!
Hehehe....fun times...enjoy!

Yehuda Marrus & Raizel Rosenthal: March 30th, 2009

Yay! We have finally caught up in our wedding blog posts! Alright, making progress...
Okay, so Raizel & Yehuda's wedding is our latest wedding so far and it took place at the Terrace Banquet Hall in Vaughan.
These two were so much fun to photograph -and their families were just incredible! I must say that I truly enjoyed every minute of their wedding!
They come from such fantastic and loving families -no wonder they were the perfect fit for each other! To top it all off, they're a very good looking couple and love to be in front of the camera -what more could a photographer ask for? Awesome! That's all I can say about these two!
I'm SO excited about these photos that we took at their wedding -it was incredible!! At every wedding, Bernard & I always look for ways to do something different and creative with different camera angles and lighting techniques, etc. So when Raizel came to us and told us that she wanted different and creative poses -we went all out! We love to challenge ourselves to progress and improve and take our photography skill to the next level -we simply had a blast!! =p
Anyway, I certainly hope you enjoy viewing just a taste of what their wedding was like. I definitely had a hard time choosing just these few shots to tell their story -so make sure you savour every moment!!

April 14, 2009

Steve & Karli Luke: March 29th, 2009

Wow! We're actually catching up on our blog posts! Cool!! =p
Steve & Karli's wedding was quite a story because they came to us just one week before their wedding to book my parents for the flowers and us for the photography!
The only request they had from us was that they didn't want any posed photos during the wedding -everything was to be caught as it happened. It was awesome because it gave Bernard & I the opportunity to really work on our photojournalism style of photography and be as creative with it as we possibly could.
The wedding was held at the Kehila Centre in Toronto with just close family and friends. Steve & Karli was really looking for a photographer who would be able to capture the real and special moments for them. So Bernard & I took up the challenge and we actually really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun with them!
Check out some of our favourite shots below and tell us what you think!
We certainly wish Steve & Karli all the best in their future together! Mazel Tov!!

Shmuli Heller & Chanzie Bistritz: March 4th, 2009

Alright! Well,if you've been following our posts here on this blog, you've probably noticed that we have re-sized, re-arranged, updated and added a couple of things here! We are really excited about these changes and think it'll be a huge success!! =p We've made the slideshows appear right here on the blog -and in nice BIG sizes too! WOO HOO!!! It's been a bit of work to get this blog re-vamped but it's definitely been worth it! What do YOU think about these new changes? We'd appreciate any comments and if you have any suggestions, we'd love to hear from you! So please feel free to leave a comment below.

Okay, on to our beautiful couple: Chanzie & Shmuli! Now, I must tell you the events leading up to their wedding...as you can see from the blog post below, we had a previous wedding on March 3rd for Eli & Daniella at the BAYT Synagogue in Thornhill.
Well, we had to prepare ourselves, buckle up and hang on tight because Shmuli & Chanzie's wedding wasn't located in Toronto...it was in MONTREAL! So as soon as we finished Eli & Daniella's wedding, we ran home to catch a wink of sleep and refresh our batteries long enough to be out of the house by 6am and on the road headed toward The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Montreal -a 5 hour car ride! Man, talk about pressure!!
Pictures were scheduled to start at 2pm and thank goodness we arrived at the hotel by 11:30am -giving us enough time to unpack our stuff, set up our equipment and be ready for the bride! WOW! Let me tell you, we've done back to back weddings before, but not in 2 different provinces in less than 24 hours!! Crazy stuff...
But we made it and Thank God, all went well!
It was quite the specatular wedding too! Everything was absolutely stunning! From the flowers to the food served everything was gorgeous!! Chanzie looked absolutely beautiful in her wedding gown and Shmuli was looking as handsome as ever!
Bernard and I certainly had fun with these guys and we really appreciate the opportunity that their families gave to us in allowing us to capture such precious memories for them.
I certainly want to thank the Heller Family for looking after us while we were in Montreal -we had a great time with you! Mazel Tov and all the best to Shmuli and Chanzie in your future together.
I hope you guys enjoy the slideshow below -let us know what you think!

Eli & Daniella's wedding was beautiful! Bernard & I had a fantastic time with these guys! They were a lot of fun -especially Daniella who loved doing the fun cool poses we did -Haha! Those were awesome!! =p

The decor looked amazing -of course, since they came from my parents over at Heavenly Flowers!! (hehehehe....) Everyone looked wonderful and I loved the camaraderie and the affectionate bantering that their families had with each other -they were hillarious!! =p

Bernard & I were able to catch some fun and special moments between them...it was tough to choose these few for this blog!

Feel free to check out their slideshow below and let me know what you think!

Yaakov Cohen & Batya Edelkopf: January 22nd, 2009

Well, one week after photographing Azaria & Hennie's wedding, Bernard & I were off to photograph Hennie's brother's wedding (I know it's a little confussing...sorry!) in NEW YORK!! How cool is that?
It was crazy how these two sibblings got married 1 week apart from each other! Wow!!
And it was an awesome experience for Bernard & I too because this was our first time doing a wedding in the USA -even though we have traveled to England and Brasil to photograph weddings there, this was our first in the US! Crazy, eh? (haha! That was so Canadian of me...)
Anyway, so we drove the long 8 hours to get down there, but it was worth every mile!! We had a blast photographing Yaakov & Batya's wedding! These two are awesome -they love taking pictures!!
They got married in a beautiful hall called Ateres Charna in Spring Valley, NY. Everything looked absolutely gorgeous!
Batya looked stunning in her beautiful gown and Yaakov was looking very spiffy too! They make a wonderful couple -they're simply perfect for each other!!
We certainly did not have a hard time taking good photos of these two and their families! Everyone looked great -Batya's dad even sang a solo toward the end of the night!! You can see for yourself in the slideshow below! Enjoy....

Azaria Weiman & Hennie Cohen: January 15th, 2009

Alright! We're making progress...Our first post for 2009!! =p

January was an insanely busy month for us -but it's a good thing, we can't complain!
We start off in Thornhill at the BAYT Synagogue where we photographed Azaria & Hennie's wedding.
These 2 were awesome! They were so much fun to photograph. They are indeed one exuberant and very energetic couple -especially Hennie! That girl loves to have fun!! =p
They both have amazing & supportive families who love them very dearly- and I think Bernard & I were able to capture some of those precious moments of affection between family members...it was very touching!
We took so many cool shots, I had a hard time choosing these few for their slideshow!

David Elmaleh & Abby Frankel: December 17th, 2008

Alright! We have reached the end! Our last wedding of 2008 was David & Abby's wedding!
And what a wonderful way to close off the year with an incredible wedding such as theirs!! Wow! It was absolutely GORGEOUS!!
The wedding took place at The Royalton in Woodbridge -a beautiful hall! My parents from Heavenly Flowers made the place look even better with the stunning decor -especially for the ceremony! I absolutely loved the way the Chupa was decorated!!
Anyway...not only did the place look good, but the Bride & Groom simply glowed in their wedding finery!! Everything worked out beautifully in the end and it was a phenomenal party that Bernard & I shall never forget!
So click on their photo below to view their slideshow -we had quite a time trying to figure out the few we could cram into this show!! All of the pictures looked so good -thanks to them!
Enjoy =p

Mitch Stein & Jennifer Kurtz: December 7th, 2008

Alright! We are back from vacation and back into the swing of things!! Brasil was a tone of fun! We had a great time, saw lots of cool things -took millions of photos!!...But you know what? Believe it or not, it's always good to come home -and sleep in your own bed!
Well, coming back home also meant coming back to reality -and we hit it full force with 2 huge weddings in January -one of which was in New York!! But wait! No fair rushing ahead....I'll tell you more about those when I post them up in a couple of weeks!
Right now we're doing a little bit of catching up here with the weddings we photographed in December. And we start off with...Mitch & Jennifer!
These two got married at Beth Emmeth Synagogue over in North York and they invited only their closest friends and family to attend...in fact, it was one of the smallest weddings we've ever done! But it was actually really nice and the atmosphere felt very cozy and warm with family familiarity. It was simple yet beautiful...Bernard & I had a fun time with them!

Hello from Brasil!!

Hello Everyone!
Bernard & I just wanted to send everyone warm greetings from Brasil!
The sun is shining, the weather is fantastic and everyone is doing well. We've been having a great time site seeing and touring around as many different places as we possibly can -as well as visiting family & friends of course! =p
Right now we're in Rio de Janeiro and we've gone on a few field-trips since our arrival from Toronto, including a Helicopter ride around Copacabana, going to the beach and even catching a lightning bolt in the middle of the clouds one night! Wow! It's been one fantastic ride so far!!
Here are a few shots we've selected to show you...yeah, it was very hard to choose these few! The bigger photo on the top right is the lightning bolt I caught! Hope this brings a little bit of sunshine to your day! Just click on the collage below to enlarge it.
