First of all, I just want to say that I think Avishai's name is so neat! He has a great name!
Secondly, Bernard & I had a ton of fun with him and his family during his Bar Mitzvah! On the Sunday, the day before his actual Bar Mitzvah, we went to a really cool little park that we have never been to before. We love going to new and different places because it gives us the opportunity to be creative and see things differently and get awesome angles!
We had a great time photographing Avishai and his family there at the park -it was the perfect day too! The sun was streaming through the leaves on the trees and giving off that warm glow -it was fantastic!
Then the next day, we were at the BAYT Synagogue bright and early in the morning for his actual reading of the Torah. Avishai did an awesome job!
His parents and siblings were extremely proud of him! It was so neat for us to be there to witness and catch those special moments for them.
Mazel Tov Avishai! You did your parents proud! =p

Yosef Halpern: August 30th, 2009
Bernard & I had the wonderful opportunity to do some amazing portraits of Yosef for his Bar Mitzvah.
We went to his house and got some awesome shots of him and his family! His sisters are so cute!! =p
We had a great time photographing and making memories for them.
All the best & Mazel Tov Yosef! We truly appreciate the opportunity to be able to photograph such a special event for you!

Aryeh Pliskin & Chana Brenner: August 23rd, 2009
Well, as you can see, August was an insanely busy month for us! And I haven't even posted or will be able to post every single wedding we photographed that month -or else I'll never get caught up on these blog posts!!
However, I did have to post this incredible wedding we photographed in Detroit! But first though, before I embark on telling this journey, I must thank Chana, Aryeh and their families for choosing us to photograph their wedding in Detroit.
Chana first heard about us and saw our work while she was participating in Yitzi & Libby's wedding here in Toronto. She loved our work and our style of photography and wanted us to photograph her wedding too!
So Thank You Chana & Aryeh for entrusting your wedding memories to us -we feel extremely honoured and are truly grateful for the opportunity you have given us!
Now, where do I begin? WOW! That would be the perfect word to describe this incredible wedding! To begin with, the wedding was held at The Dearborn Inn -a gorgeous and historical hotel near Detroit, Michigan.
Chana looked absolutely magnificent in her wedding dress and Aryeh looked like Prince Charming himself in his dashing suit! With such a fantastic combination of a gorgeous looking couple along with an equally stunning place like The Dearborn Inn, we couldn't possibly take a "bad" photograph, even if we wanted to!! It was photography heaven for us! =p
We loved capturing the emotions and the harmony that was felt amongst both families; the joyful tears, the bubbly laughter and the shear excitement of this much anticipated day! It was so touching!!
Boy, and when I tell you we had a hard time choosing these few shots to show on this post, I really mean it! It was extremely hard to choose these select few because everyone looked so good in all of them!!
I certainly hope these shots we have chosen will help describe a little bit of what we experienced at Aryeh and Chana's wonderful wedding! We felt extremely privileged to not only have witnessed this incredible event but to have captured these treasured memories for them -for life! ....Enjoy!

Ryan & Andrea and Darren & Erica Wedding: August 15th,2009
Alright! This is the post we have all been waiting so anxiously for! The DOUBLE wedding of Ryan & Andrea and Darren & Erica!! YAY!!!
Some of you may remember the post I made a couple of months ago from their engagement photo session at Oakbank Pond Park. On that post, I explained in more detail about the unique relationships between these brothers & sisters getting married to each other.
Well, now, it's time to showcase their wedding!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!!
And what a wedding it was indeed! To begin with, the ceremony and reception took place at The Royal York Hotel -a Gorgeous hall in downtown Toronto, and just the fact that it was a double wedding made this whole event completely unique! Something that none of us had ever experienced before!!
The girls looked absolutely stunning in their wedding gowns and the boys were strutting like the gentlemen they were in their spiffy suits! The flowers and decorations were absolutely magnificent -brought to you proudly by Heavenly Flowers.
To top it all off, they couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! The sun was shining, it was a warm summer day -what else could a pair of Brides & Grooms ask for?!? LOL!
We were so excited and felt extremely honoured to have been chosen to not only capture and create such beautiful memories for both couples but it was a thrill to have been counted as one of their guests. To be there to witness such a joyous occasion for them and their families brought tears to my eyes! It was one awesome experience!! =p
Well, now is the moment of truth! The moment we have all been waiting for to see: their wedding pictures below!
We started out at the girls house where we got some beautiful shots of the girls and their bridesmaids, then we moved onto the hall downtown where the boys were staying at to get some nice shots of them with the groomsmen.
My favourite part was at the very end of the wedding, when we got the opportunity to do some fun night shots at the end of the night -we were all extremely tired and exhausted from a full day of the wedding, but I think it was totally worth it! We got some amazing shots! So make sure to wait until the end of the slide show to see those!
Hope you enjoy -let me know what you think!! =p

Eldad Younessi & Jenny Kohanzadeh: August 5th,2009
The following day after photographing Nesanel & Chava's wedding, we traveled out to Hamilton to photograph Jenny & Eldad's wedding at a beautiful little shull called Adas Israel Synagogue.
But just because it was a smaller shull than the BAYT synagogue (where we're used to photographing the majority of our weddings!), doesn't mean that everything had to be simple and small either. As a matter of fact, it turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous wedding!
The decor work that my parents at Heavenly Flowers did for them was just absolutely stunning! In fact, I made sure to include some of the decor shots we took of the Chupah and the reception room below because it was just so inexplicably gorgeous! My parents definitely went above and beyond every one's expectations and floored us all!
Of course, we can't forget to mention how stunning Jenny looked in her wedding gown! WOW! She was beautiful!
The one thing I loved the most about photographing Eldad & Jenny's wedding was that they were so much fun to hang out with and take pictures of! You should have seen how natural Jenny was in front of the camera -and Eldad! My goodness! That boy is something else! We had so much fun coming up with cool and extreme angles -it was just awesome!!
This was definitely a very memorable wedding that we're bound to never forget! So make sure to check out the photos below and let me know what you think! Feel free to leave any comments at the end of the post. =p

Nesanel Fettman & Chava Bollag: August 4th, 2009
August was an insanely busy month for us -which is a good thing! And now we are finally starting to get caught up in editing all 10 weddings & events we photographed that month.
To kick it all off we start with Nesanel & Chava! What a great couple! Chava is such a sweet girl -a very caring and down to earth young lady. She looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding dress! Nesanel is also a really nice guy -very shy, but it's cute because it fits his personality! He also looked dashing in his suit.
They come from such wonderful and loving families! It was very special for us to not only witness but to capture such tender moments between their siblings and their parents. We had a great time photographing their wedding!
Bellow are just some of our favourite shots -out of over 1500 photos! It was truly hard to choose these few to represent a wonderful night that lasted until 2am!
Mazel Tov Chava & Nesanel! All the best and much Nachas in your future together!

Steven Walvick & Deborah Miller: July 5th, 2009
We're chugging right along here on posting our first wedding for the month of July! Boy have things been busy lately! It's so hard to keep up with posting all of the weddings, but we're working hard to get it done so hang on tight!!
Steven & Deborah had a wonderful wedding at the Paradise Banquet Hall in Woodbridge. It was a different wedding than the weddings that we normally photograph, mainly because Deborah is studying to be a Rabbi while Steven is a Cantor, so some customs were done differently. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful wedding!
The other part that made it different was the height difference between Deborah and Steven (as you can see in the pictures!), yet, they're so perfect for each other!
There was this beautiful connection between the two of them that just lit their faces and charged up this electricity between them! It pretty much made up for the height difference, that's for sure!
They were a lovely couple and we were thrilled to have been chosen to photograph their wedding! My favourite part of the wedding was when Steven sang for Deborah to walk down the aisle -it was so romantic! He's such a sweetie!! =p
All in all, it was a beautiful day and we got some amazing pictures of their wedding -these few in the slideshow below are just some of our favs! Enjoy!!
